Hi guys, got a 98 kx125 here that I’m turning into a chainsaw on steroids 😂 I need just enough wiring to have a kill switch and make the coil fire and that’s it

I’ve got to get a new stator and flywheel as the old ones were damaged beyond repair

can an I get by with just the stator, flywheel, cdi and coil ? Or do I need the pick up sensor on the flywheel as well ?
