KLX 250s won't start
Just changed the oil and oil filter on my bike. The oil filter has a spring on the back side that pushes against the filter. The only way I could get it to stay in place is to lay the bike to one side and install filter. Now the bike will not start. Let in sit over night but still will not start. Battery and starter worked fine till I ran the battery down. Any ideas?????

How long was it siting since you last ran it? If its been a week then you need to follow this procedure.
Tip the bike over to where the handlebars almost touch the ground, and let some gas pour out on the ground, that's assuming the gas is on. This allows fresh gas to get in to the carb bowl. Then give it a try.
To avoid this in the future, if you know the bike is going to sit for a week or a month or more, turn off the gas before you get to the driveway, and let most of it run through the engine. That way the next time you go to ride it, just turn on the gas and wait about 10 seconds and it will fire every time.
Now if you ride everyday you don't have to do any of those things. It will start.
