Default kfx90 headlights

Can you put headlights on a 2008 kfx90 or will it drain the battery? Is there anyway to hook up the headlights to the front wiring harness? Is there any after market headlights available? Thanks Dan

Yeah, you can, but it takes some creativity. Cut yourself a triangular bracket to mount on the handlebar clamp. (I have a standard-looking rectangular aftermarket lamp on my daughter's 80.) Go to Wal-Mart and theauto lighting section. Find something that you like. Don't over-do the bulb wattage; keep it no more than 55 (H-2 bulb.) You'll also need a SPST switch (like a toggle switch.) The wiring is up to you; do you wantthe light available all the time, or only when theengine's running? Make yourself a small switch bracket and install on the seat-side of the bars.Running the wires is pretty straightforward. See pics in next post; couldn't get them to load on this one.

Here are some pics of my daughter's KFX80. (Hopefully; having trouble with the upload.)
