Default Help wiring Kawasaki MC1 90cc Midi

I have a 1973 90cc MC1 Midi. I am trying to wire directly from the points to the coil, bypassing all of the switches. I have done this on Honda's but do not know the wiring on a Kawi. Here's what I have: Currently it has a black wire that comes from down by the points that goes to the coil. That wire has a double connection that goes to the kill switch. I disconnected it from the kill switch and still no spark. Also coming from the points is a green wire, baby blue wire, yellow wire, pink wire and a yellow with a green stripe. I have not pulled the fly wheel off yet. Which wire should go to the coil? I assumed it was the black, but I have no spark. I checked the points and they appear fine and open and close. I need to make sure I am connecting the correct wire from the points to the coil. Which color wire is it?
When I pull off the fly wheel, where does the wire that would go to the coil connect to? The points?? I know I have to make sure my points are o.k. and gapped correctly. What is the correct gap?
If I am sure which wire would go directly to the coil, I can eliminate that as a problem and look hard at the points. I know I can hook it up like this, but do not have a diagram. Any help would be appreciated.

The point gap is pretty standard at .012-.016"
plug gap of .024"

pm me for a pic. I am seeing those wire colors but want to make sure that we are on the same page. note pg105 control unit tests
