Is there a screen or filter for the out-going port from the gas tank that could get clogged, and if so is it a change out part or can it be cleaned? The situation is that every time I fill my fuel tank the bike runs smooth as glass. When the fuel level gets lower, or it sits not running for a while (ie over night) it runs rougher. I used my syphon hose to blow into the fuel to stir it up, and that does seem to smoothen the running a bit (temporarily).

hi im have a similar problem and can use help as well i need to take the fuel pump out of the tank to clean and also the tank i just got an 05 z750s and the tank is in ruff shape theres a lot of stuff in the tank and its stopping the fuel i tried taking it out but could not get it all the way can any ideas is there any special way to remove it
