I have recently purchased a 99 zx9. the title actually states that it is a 99 zx7. I need a front rim for it. I know the forks are c series and they are interchangable with the two frames. My question is are the wheels interchangable from the 99 zx7 to the 99 zx9? If not how do I tell the difference in the forks? I am a machinist so I have measuring tools. Does anyone have the measurments for the front axle on a zx7 and zx9? for comparison? I am looking to replace the wheel, and if the right one is found... I will be happy to buy it.

The 99 zx7 P4 and the 99 zx9 C2 axle is a part no 41068. Spacers 92143 and 92143A are on both models. Look on your favorite parts fiche shaarp and compare numbers.

The Head stem 44037 are the same so switching from a standard front suspension to an upside down setup looks feasible. Or visa versa depending on what bike you actually have at this time. Good luck
