Think about this Lyn, plating is normally how thick? Now look at the pits in the casting? One, I think it is a poor casting, two, the people who did the plating will most likely let you know of this situation. But, that is just going off of your original pic. I wish ya well.

edit: Glad that you are now getting some customer service. Who are you going through for the plating?

US Chrome in WI. I went through Midtown Kawasaki dealership in CT. Midtown customer service NEEDS HELP! US Chrome has been very good at putting the customer first... we shall see if they can fix their mistakes. (fingers crossed)

Hello!

I just got my cylinder back and it looks SOOOOOO much better.
check it out...

(if it looks like pores, it's NOT its dust) lol I counted, and I only have 4 maybe 5 pores in it... nice improvment
