I have an 05 ZX10R the bike only has 988 miles on it. The bike cuts off often and Kawasaki saysthey have no record of any other 10 cutting off like this. The kawasaki rep. says to just keep riding it. I can't understand how kawasaki can send someone out on a bike that could get someone hurt. I have been a kawasaki fan all of my life, I also raced Kawasaki in CCS but am very unhappy with my 10. If anyone knows of any other 10's with this problem please let me know thanks

 

First of all welcome to the forums! Sorry, I haven't heard of anyone having any problems. But if I were you, I'd take that bike right back to where you got and refuse to leave until they agree to take it apart to figure out what is wrong with it. You should tell them to fix it or replace it. I am surprised that they'd tell you to keep driving it.

I agree with bluebird, but am not surprised at all in there response though, a little 400 hundred dollar warranty work getting in there way how dare you! If that is the dealer where you bought the bike go back and demand it to be fixed. I am not trying to tell you how to act but I have dealt with dealers and if you are not making some noise, you most likely will not get far.

i completely agree with everyone, MAKE them fix it. as for the "stealership" comment...dude u hit the nail on the head with that one. i went in to get a back tire changed, left with 2 tires, an oil change and a $600 bill!!!plus i think they may have messed with some stuff so i'll come back. not cool. good luck with the 10
