I get a code 62 on my 09 vn900 custom. The for the sub throttle actuator which is a bolt on part but Im being told I have to buy the whole fuel injection unit and cant buy just this bolt on part. Anybody had this problem and without spending $550-$750. how did you fix it or find just that part?

 

Welcome, cody. I would get the OE part number and start Googling for Kawasaki Parts. I know there are several parts houses on the web. Contact them directly to see if they will sell the "bolt-on" part instead of the entire assembly. Sometimes you get lucky. You might also try Googling for a forum specific to your bike. (Hey; it's OK, many of us are on more than one forum!) Good luck!!

There isnt a part# you have to buy the whole fuel injection system #TTK34. $500-$700
