Default Clutch Question

Hey guys, i just picked up an 89 ex500 a few weeks ago, i've only ridden it a few times around the neighborhood. The last ride i went on i was pulling into my road in second gear with the clutch pulled, as i was braking the bike stalled. Now i've noticed that when the bike is off, and i'm moving it in the garage, it'll be in gear, and when i pull the clutch in it still takes some effort to move the bike. It feels like the clutch is dragging a little bit. When the clutch lever is pulled in is the clutch supposed to be completely disengaged?

I would try to adjust the cluch cable it might be set wronge and try lubing the cable too. if that doesn't work i guess you might need a new cluch. hope everything works out for you .

yes when you pull in the lever the clutch should be completley disingaged, there should not be any drag. try adjusting and lube like blue beast said.
