changing front brakes
ok, i want to change my front brakes. other then the brake pads and oil, what else do i need. and whats proceedure to do it myself... i would appreciate any help..... thanks everyone....
You know I have to answer,
New pads is all you need. You do not need to replace fluid unless it is just adding some. But you probably wont need that either. Once you push in your calibers, the fluid level will rise.
Trust me when your done you wont believe how easy it was.

As long as you don't get any air into the lines. If your brakes are worn your fluid level is probably down a little in the reservoir. When you remove the worn pads you have to push in the calibers so there is room for the new pads to fit onto the rotors. When you push in the calibers the fluid level will rise in the reservoir. If you have toped off the fluid prior to do this it will probably overflow. If so, just remove fluid to the proper level and your good to go.
I was shocked how easy this was to do when I first did it.
