Default carbon fouling

Have a 94 Vulcan 1500... Had the Carbs checked at a shop and dyno'd......all was fine..... But having a intermittant problem with the plugs fouling.... Sometimes run 200 miles and no problems and then the next day I'll go through 3 sets of plugs in 50 miles... All carbon fouled badly.....Had the plug wires changed and ignition coils replaced.... I'm just wondering if anybody else has had this type of problem before....Went to one stealer and they woundn't work on any bike over 10 years old.... PISSED.....PLS Help..... Will take any sugestions[sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif]

I have never ridden or worked on a Vulcan. Not even sure on what fuel system they run. But good luck.

Correct heat range plug installed in the bike ? Were are you getting your fuel at ? Any jet kit or is it all stock ? Has the bike ever sat up ?

You said you had it dynoed . So do you have the air fuel graph that sould of come with the dyno run ? This will help to see were it is
rich or lean and what areas . How many miles and have you serviced the bike at the correct intervals for valves and such .

Have you performed a compresion test to see that both cylinders are in spec and also with in 10% of each other ?

Vince read # 3/ 4 and 5 coments and use this as your guide to narrow down your problem.

yes. checked the compression and all maintaince is up to date...... the only thing is that one day the plugs are burning good( nice light tan on the ceramics and the next day, I'm carbon fouling completely in 20 miles....... only thing I can think is the IC box......Cause it affects both plugs on the jugs...... think I'm have a ignition fall out )
