Carb Issues/OR SOMETHING ELSE??
I took apart my 1994 Ninja ZX6E to install a new swingarm and sprocket kit. In the process of busting off the sprocket I knocked the carbs off the manifold. Now, after putting them back on properly, the left outer carb is stuck half open and the other three carbs do not suck any air in at all. What do we think causes this problem?
What happens when youn open the throttle, is it smooth? Can you manually close the carb that is open? Check the springs that make them close, is there damage or are they apart?
Probably a good idea to get them off the bike and on the work bench and start going through them.

You might have bent the throttle cable adjutmanet plate on the carbs... Make sure where the cable comes into the carbs, that plate that holds themdown is straight and not bent. If it bent, it would knock the throttle cable adjustment out... You might have also stuck a float. If the carbs got tipped far enough and the rubber on the needle is old, it might have stuck the float. Try pulling off the carbs, check the linkages, hold down plates, and pull your bowls. Check the adjustments on the floats.... While you have her that far apart, you might as well clean em. you are all ready there, and it's no extra labor....
Where the throttle cable comes into the carbs, there should be two nuts, right? Make sure one of the nuts, or the jam nut, did not back off..
