98 800cc vulcan......have gas going into the exaust pipes and air cleaner....also dripping from overflow hose....help?

Not sure, But could be the floats in the Carb.

 

^+1 to the carb having issues. May be some gunk under the valve needle causing fuel to continually run into the engine. This will cause hydrolock and gas in the oil as well. Time for a carb cleaning, adjustments, oil and other maintenance to be done.

thanks for the reply "95451 "and "dragone#19."........YEA YOU ARE PROBABLY RIGHT....BIKE SAT FOR A LONG TIME ,WOULDNT START...HAD FREIND CLEAN CARB,CHANGE OIL,NEW PLUGS....HAS ALITTLE HESITATION TOO(RUNS ROUGH ON LOW END OF GEARS)LOOKS LIKE ITS TIME FOR A REBUILD OF THE CARB...THANKS AGAIN
