Thanks for the input guys.
I am making some headway. Pulled the carbs out again last weekend. Everything checked out ok again. It had 95 main jets it it. With a K&N and the snorkle removed. Sea level, & cool dry air. Just to lean. I ordered a set of 98, & 100 jets. Installed the 98s and rode it this weekend. Wow what a difference! But still not just right. So the 100s are going in this week. When they come in that is. Hard to believe but 1 came in as ordered, 3 were on back order.
Trying to get the raceboat togeather at the same time, runnin around like a chicken withno head!
Thanks again,
Mitch

How many turns out are the mixture screws? I'm thinking they should be around 2-2 1/n turns out with the jets you have. My '01
has a K & N, still has the snorkle, and a Muzzy pipe. I have 90 jets It's been awhile, but I think my A/F screws around 2.

Check the mixtures screws before you change to a 98 jet. If needed, I have a nice way of getting the screws set right. If you
want, I can email it to you.

Kev,
The plugs are still covering the air screws. So they are factory spec. Haven't had any time to get back into it, but it is way better with the 98 jets. I will pull the plugs out and play with screw settings next time I get to pull the carbs.

Drag,
It is still a "little" flat from around 4500 to 8000 at WOT . Especially if I am a gear to tall. If I down shift and free it up , it's not as bad.
It is tolerable now and doesn't buck at all.I just know it isn't right yet, so I am not happy. The old lady says that I will never be happy, no matterhow fast it is! LOL
No time to wrench on itfor a few weeks, so I will update when I get to it. To many irons in the fire![:@]
