hi all , i just picked up a 98 klx 300 . it has been slightly modded with the air box drilled out ? and jetted and a hot start and a dessert tank (3.2gal) it does not have radiator shroud plastics as the stocks wouldnt fit the new tank . the first owner told me he researched it and found that the klx 250 plastics would work . but he never did get them so i am wondering if anyone can help me figure this out , i called the local kawi dealer and i might as well shot myself in the foot . thanks in advance , have a great ride next time out ,!!

 

Can you take a picture or 2 and post it up? That might give us a better idea of what we are talking about.

What brand is your tank, I think you will have to know that first before you can find panels for it.

 

yes it does look pretty damm close to that . not as cool . couldnt find green bark busters so i went with black . i put a pic in a photo gallery i set up under my name eric pettus . thanks again for the helps!!

 

looks like you have the IMS/clark tank for sure.......KLX 250 shrouds should fit
where are you? maybe we can hook you up with another rider .....you could try one on to make sure before you buy anything aftermarket or off Ebay

 

You didn't try the genuine Bark Busters did you.
