2019 kx250f rebuild and no compression
Hows it going everyone! Okay heres what i have and stumped.
2019 kx250f
head rebuilt with a kibble white stainless kit. Valves, springs, seats, seals replaced
stock cylinder with wiseco piston and rings
valves clearances all in spec..all installed with new gaskets and torque specs as well…
will not start! Did a compression test and only has 50lbs!!!!!!!!!!
i rebuild bikes all the time and never ever had this iss. Went to do a leak down test and air wont pressurize its coming out the little hole on the side of the cylinder????? Any help is appreciated im stumped

Nice rebuild. No corners were cut. You may have heard already but it’s very common for the gear on the intake cam to spin on the camshaft of Kawi 4 strokes. Usually just the intake but might as well tack weld the exhaust gear if you’re taking out the intake cam to tack it. On the face of the gear on the edge where the camshaft meets it. Cover up your camshaft while welding so you don’t get bb’s stuck to the camshaft. You can look down the cam; the circle in the gear is supposed to line up with the top of the lobes. They will slip anywhere from 1-3 teeth.
