I have a 2009 KLX250s with stock suspension and want a better ride on the jeep and off road trails. I was thinking about going with valving and spring upgrades, but was also thinking more affordable solution.

What year for KX250 Suspension can bolt on to my 2009 frame and triple trees?
I was looking at a set of 1999 forks, and rear shock.
Anyone have any suggestions or experience with straight suspension swapping?
