2005 z1000 front end alignment
so i bought an orange z1000 that had been dropped at a decent speed. previous owner did not say how fast. the bike slid on pavement then went into the grass and flipped upside down. bike runs good rides alright. front end is tweaked pretty bad. rear brake side footpeg is broken off (may be able to weld the rearset for a temporary fix). radiator is busted. paint is in good shape. so i need to find a radiator (ez pzy) i havent really found any rearsets. need to find a good source of used parts. i also need to find an orange front fender (fender covering front wheel) i dont think the forks are bent at all. will include a few pics. the triple clamps may be bent, but i have never re aligned a front end on a motorcycle before, or even a dirt bike. never had to. anyways, im going to look around for a service manual but idk if that would tell me the procedure for loosening the clamps axle nut stem nut ext, aligning the front end, and re tightening the clamps. it doesnt need to be perfect. the bars are tweaked as well but im not worried about that, i want the forks and front wheel to be as straight as possible. let me know what you guys think. thanks.
