Were there any call backs for the 2005 636 ninja? It was mentioned to me on a previous thread, that there may have been some issues with 3rd gear on the bike. It was suggested that I check for any callbacks. How do I find out? Does anyone know any more info about this? I have not yet experienced any problems, but I am curious to know what could become a problem. Thanks.

i thought i heard something about a recall but it only affected certain VIN#s...like Drag said check out their site...

 

I went to the page suggested, and typed in my VIN#. It came back "not found". Then I realized that being that it is a Canadian bike, it shouldn't be in the U.S. system but in the Kawasaki Canada system. I easily found the Canadian web page, but it doesn't have the same call-back area as its' American counterpart. Does this mean that there were no callbacks? I doubt it! I guess the only way for me to find out will be to contact them via telephone, and request the info. on my bikes' tag #. Thanks for helping guys!
