Default Can i get a Japanese spec engine swap?

Im new to the bike scene, was wondering if i can get a Japanese spec engine swap for a zx8? If so where online is a good place to make a purchase?

Ill take a look around the web. Ill let you know if i find any high performance jspec engine swaps.

(For true hi-po engines, much depends on who you know and less-so where you look. Doubt you'll find much beyond the commercially available upgrades by shopping the web.)

The only other thing I can think of is to contact Kawasaki Japan directly. I'm betting you could purchase an engine in Japan and ship it back, but it will probably not be cheap. Many times there are only limited numbers of Jap spec motors built, and unless you are "hooked up", or in the loop, getting one will be close to impossible. Most of the time top race teams who have been around forever will get first dibs. Maybe you could find a used one from somewhere, but I'm doubting you will be successful. Unless you are going to campaign on a race tour, I don't think it's necessary anyways. You could have a motor built to be better than Jap spec anyways. Good luck.

I noticed in the "New Member" area on Kawasaki Forums, there is a new member called JapanBilly who says he is currently in Japan, and will ship parts over to anyone who needs them. It's a long shot, but I figured you might want to check it out.
