2003 500r no power?

yay i fixed it!...while checkin all the fuses again i looked at the fuse diagram and all the fuses were 10A....but on the board there was room for a 30A spare im like ok WTF does the 30A go....so i took the rear farings off and found a fuse holder thingy on the distribution block under the fiaring and it said 30A on it so im like hey i found it....opened her up and the dingbat woman who owned the bike b4 me stuck a 10A in there....needless to say it was blown
so i stuck in a 30A and it fired right up....so yay me i fixed it
why it hadent blown in the 300 miles or so ive gone on it since i bought it ill never know but that was the problem.

yay i can go riding tomm after work pending any severe thunderstorms like we had this afternoon

Good going bro, you just have to keep trouble shooting. Look at the cash you saved yourself. Towing, time and the BS the dealer might have given you with a large bill.

bikes are fairly simple just cant be afraid to dive in and trouble shoot things but congrats on your new found knowledge
