I am in trouble. I was charging the battery on my 2002 drifter 1500. I was charging it in frame with all connections in place. I was using a full size automotive charger and charging a little high. After about 15 minutes I was about to shut the charger off and heard a pretty loud pop which seemed to come from the center of the bike, below and toward the front. I removed the charger and found that I now had no electric power whatsoever. I have not load tested the battery but it shows 11 volts. I thank you for your help. Thanks for helping, Stan

 

11 volts is low for the battery.

I hate any popping sounds lol, what have you found out so far?
