I recently rebuild my carbs and have had problems ever since. I needed a new regulator/rectifier and someone sugjested that I rebuild my petcock but all I did was take it apart and clean it. The bike ran fine for about a week then it just died on me when I went to start it today and it ran ****ty like it was only running on 3 cylinders when I stopped I noticed that the overflow for cylinders 3 and 4 was pouring fuel out. when I turn the fuel off it runs great then if I turn it on it will bog down after A min. If anyone have any insight I would really apreicate it. Thanks

 

Either your carb floats are not adjusted properly, or the float needles are worn out, allowing thefuel bowls to over-flow.

Thanks guys it was the float. all better now other than its a little hesitant at low rpms and somewhat jerky.

 

robmac make sure the floats are at the right level that might get rid of the hesatation in the lower rpms.
