Default 1986 Vulcan EN 400

Hi

Iam Anji from Pune, India. Just acquired a Vulcan 400 & need help as folllows:

1) Is the cam chain tensioner adjustable & if so, how?

2) In case the chain & guides need to be replaced, how can this be done, with the least amount of PAIN & suffering????

Thanks guys. Still to acquire a good restoration guide, hence groping in the dark. Most of my experience has been limited to Brit & German machines.

Take care & ride safe

Welcome to KF Anji

Yes the vulcan does have a CCT. I do not have a manual on the 400cc vulcan, but there are 800cc online manuals and others that may point you to the answer. Also, hit up your favorite parts fiche and it also will give you a break down on the parts which really helps in viewing what is where.

Welcome again to KF, post up if you find your answer so that we all can learn from your experience.
