Im new here hello this bike is my first its a 1985 ninja 600r ill put pics up when i put it back together its all stock except for turn signals and the big bore kit. it came with stock dual pipes but the guy i got it from also gave me a vance & hines 4 into 1 exhaust setup ive got it installed but am having an issue with air coming out where it shouldnt. ive got pics below it didnt come with any bolts i used the ones i took off the original exhaust but since im new at this my pictures can explain better. i work by trial and error

Basicly the new pipes going into the engine seem a little bit loose even though it is tightend and ive also got the little half circle peices installed also... maybe i put them in wrong??

 

First picture there should be springs.
Are there donut gasketsat your headers.
Try adjusting muffler to get ride of gap
