My friend have a 2000 zx6r and he can get the bike started but when we open the choke to get a high idle it doesn't do anything. The cabes look good and we can see from the outside that the choke moves in and out. that is all we have done so far, we're not very good with fuel systems, any help would be appreciated.

 

The carbs most likely need a good cleaning. Verify float height and then carb synch afterwards.
