2003 ZX-6r High Idle
Hey guys I have a high idle problem.
2003 ZX-6r with DandD exhaust and K&N air filter. I've laid it down on both sides, once on each side to be clear. The most recent time I laid it down on the right side. After getting it back up and getting it started I first noticed that it was hard to down shift. That problem has since gone away but at the moment it seems that the bike is idling too high. Between 2 and 3k.
I would suspect that the choke cable is messed up somewhere because this is usually how high it idles when the choke is open.
So my question is, "What's wrong" first off, and second if it is the choke cable what should I be looking for before I start? I was thinking maybe the it's the throttle cable but it seems so consistent of a high idle and that it seems be where it idles when the choke is open so that's why I assumed choke cable.
When I move the choke lever it doesn't really seem to be doing anything but I can't remember what it felt like before. I didn't ride it for 2 months. It was getting painted due to the lay downs.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

it may be the thottle wire...theres a **** on the side..twist the **** counter clock wise until idle is set corretly which is 1400rpm...make sure the bike is completly warmed up before adjusting...or u can adjust as it goes.
