getting ready to get one of the 2. im trading in my Ninja 250R and getting either a R6 or a ZX-6R. I am leaning towards an R6 because I like the way they look a little better than the ZX6r. My questions are: which is better as far as performance is concerned and what are the pros and cons to each? Thanks

 

Sounds like you should be reading reviews. I'd say it's more a matter of personal taste than performance differences, but you could get info pretty quickly by reading reviews. People here are gonna tell you to get the zx-6r. This is a kawasaki forum. We're kawasaki enthusiasts.

 

I can only say from what I have read so far. No personnal experience on either one. But I would go green.

Quick question...

What is the difference between the R6 and the R6S? They both have the same engine??? I am under the impression that they are the same bike just with a different faring.

 

With my masterful googling skills I now know that the R6S is basically the older model, the R6 has all the spiffy new gadgets on it. As for what exactly makes them different, you will have to check yami's site. Its kinda like the ZX6R and the ZZR600, if the ZZR wasnt sport touring and they were both yamaha's and...well I guess its totally different but you get the idea. appearantly the R6 has fly by wire and a higher reving engine, but the R6S has more low end performance.Thanks google[sm=smiley20.gif]
