Default Women on Ninja 250s

Hey all,

I'm writing a feature news story on women who began their riding lives aboard a Ninja 250. Doesn't matter if it was last month, last year, or 20 years ago, would just love your story and how you liked it (or didn't like it), what you learned, etc.

PM me, or feel free to discuss in the thread. You can also e-mail me at kfsantos --at-- yahoo dot com

Thanks!

Oh great....Kawasaki's gonna turn the 250 into a girl's bike. Like there wasn't already enough stigma.

Women on 250's is sexist. When is our turn? Who says a man cant ride a 250? Kawi men unite!

Just messin girl, the 250 is a great starter bike no matter what the gender and its a fun bike to ride no matter what your experiance level. I would love to see more ladies out on their bikes (chick riders are hawt). I tip my hat to you for spreading the word, I just hope I don't see a pink bike on the sales floor in 2011, LOL

94: The Ninja 250 was originally marketed at women when it came out in the 80s... then folks realized what a mistake that was!

Ugh. I hate pink anything. Just because I'm female doesn't mean I love pink!

I dont mind a little pink on the gear but keep it off the ride. Those poor things, what did they ever do to you? lol Actually I knew a guy who couldnt decide what color to paint his ride, and left it primered in my buddy's garage for a week trying to decide. Then one morning he had a pink ride and was too lazy to respray it.

Sorry for the thread jack, Ladies lets hear some riding stories before someone starts posting pics and this place goes to hell.
