Default warranty question??????

I've been surfing alot of forums and been coming across alot of tranny problems with the 05' 06' 636 1st 2nd gear problems .And the horror stories of the dealer not covering the trannies without a tear down charge . I was foolish to buy the extended coverage for peace of mind. Am I to beleive that if you didn't get the 600 mile service from the dealer that your warranty is nullllllllllllllllllllll in void? any input would be appreciated. I feel that paying for them to change the oil and charging a ridiculous amount of money to do that service ( 600) was crazy. Did I just waste my money?

If you are actually having problems with the trany, the stealership tears it down and finds a problem then you should be covered through the warranty for the tear down and the repairs.

F- the stealers, 99% of them just suck and if i was paying 600 bones I would want to be able to come in an see the tear down, I could just see them charging you, saying everything is fine and never even pushing the bike up on the lift. [:@]

I don't think the 600 mile service would have anything to do with the tranny shifting problem. All they do is adjust the valves at that service. If you did have transmission problems, that should be covered no matter what. If they say it's not, that's your que to throw a big fit in front of everybody!

also once they said that ,customer fault ,customer is responsible for repair. That's the gest of it all. Stealerships don't want to cover this repair.
