Default Suspension settings question

I purchased my 05 636 in may. The guy i got the bike off of used in mainly to commute on so he has the suspension set up very soft. I weigh about 240lbs at 6'2" does anybody have good suspension settings for my weight?
Also i know how to adjust the front. by turning the ****/screw on the head, but what about the rear? any help is much appreciated thanks-

you can adjust the rebound and dampning but for your weight, your going to need a beefier spring. works shocks can do a transplant on your rear slightly cheaper than getting a new shock and its worth the money.

have you tried to set the sag up yet ?

Erik, "also how do you adjust sag? " Your manual will help with this, I have a few other manuals that may help you out on how to work with your suspension. Your stock springs are not for you bro.

i dont remember off hand if it was 345, 240, 360, i know it was under 400 bucks for the spring and valving set up to my weight and riding style, once i got it back i fine tuned it with the comp and rebound.

ted, do you have the suspension set up links ??? its alot to write, better to click and read. let me see if i have a pic that shows the adjustment points on my bike, these adjustments are also covered in the manuel.

this is also a great site http://forums.superbikeschool.com/in...?showtopic=703 search for suspension and set up. good reading, also check out Keith Codes books. A Twist of the Wrist series. good set up info in there and riding tech.

Well I guess I should ask too. I'm 6'3'' 230lbs. What should the settings be on my '08 ZX6?
