on the lines of the speedo healer. i wonder if i'd need one. when i bought the bike i was told that the previous owner had put a smaller rear sprocket on there to help keep the front wheel down (which is explained by the nitrous jet holes i found in the airbox)
i'll have to count the teeth.

im sure somebody on here would know if ya would need to or not. i guess when ya mess with the chain it changes the speed as if you were to lift a truck. hmm

Most bikes need one, stock or not. My stock speedo was off 7%, and after the gearing change another 11%. The speedohealer is doing a total of 18% correction now. I like knowing exactly how fast I'm going.

I knew I'd read this in my Cycle World magazine but didn't have time to get back to you. The August 07 edition has comparisons on all of those bikes, including their quarter-mile times. I'd read the article a week or two ago but was too busy to respond. For what it's worth: Ninja ZX-6R: 10.84 seconds; Yamaha YZF-R6: 10.60 seconds; Suzuki GSX-R600: 10.56 seconds; and Honda CBR600RR: 10.48.

I presume that issue of Cycle World has hit the newsstands by now. You might want to grab a copy, its actually gotpretty good comparisons of those mid-range sport bikes even if you're just looking to see how the others out there compareto yours and not buying. Or if4 bucks gone from your walletwill mean missing out ondinner that daythen I canscan the article and e-mail it to you if you want.
