How do you keep your bikes from being stolen? And also, a lot of times I'll see a helmet on a parked motorcycle. What keeps the helmet from being stolen? I know that all motorcycles have front wheel locks, but that doesn't stop a couple guys from just loading it up in a truck...

I do not think that anything is steal proof. Although I carry a large coated cable and lock system for extended out of nighter trips. Leaving a lid just sitting on the ride is just asking for it to be stolen.

What stops the helmet from falling and being ruined? UNless it is locked onto the bike, I do that sometimes.

Just stop wearing gear like the "cruiser guys". I endured a 10 minute speech on why hemlets actually make riding more dangerous at a gas station stop today....classic Harley riders....I just wanted to drink some freaking powerade.[:@]

Most bikes you can lock your helmet under the rear seat by a small clip. I never do because it's too much monet to replace. What would keep someone from just cutting the strap? If you worried about your bike in a parking lot or something just carry a kryptonite front disc lock in your pocket.
