Question Miss Fire

I have a kawasaki KLX250S and it's had a miss since I bought it. I have taken it to the dealer and got the standard responce "We didn't feel anything" The problem with that is it happens all the time start up , take off, high RPM's warm up, and cruising. Is there a fix for this?

Well first of all welcome to the best Kawi forum ever!!! LOL Sorry I think the 3 cup of coffee is kicking in. But seriously, give us some more info. Any mods done to the bike? What year and mileage? How old is the gas? What are the temps there? What's your social security number and bank account info....whoops...hahahahahaha That sounds like a stumble problem, and if the jets have been messed with then it may be that there is some minor adjustments to be made. Are you running with the air box lid off? Did you buy the bike new and is it still stock? "Talk to me goose"

If it is a jetting problem then someone on here can help, because I know almost nothing about that. Looking forward to getting to know you here and let us know how things go.

I'd hook up to one of those 'ol timey oscilloscopes and look for the "miss." Any dealer worth a damn should have a scope!! Sometimes "feel" doesn't cut it.....

Welcome to the forums. Gear up; stay safe.
