definately an A+ for icons textile jacket. i own the timax jacket as well and have a felling it wont be staying in my closet all summer ill probably switch back and forth depending on how hard im gonna ride on any given day. but i do know that on the back, elbows and shoulders icon puts titanium threading in the jacket to help with abrasion resistance. but i would agree that leather beats textile any day of the week just make sure you get a vented jacket lol

i have the icon motorheard jacket. its leather with a winter zip out liner. it has 4 zipper vents on the front, 4 on the back, one in each arm and the lower/under arms of the jacket are perferated. it also has all the usuall armor in it, which is removable(not sure why you would remove it). Here is the biggest question you need to answer, whats your price range, b/c leather is alot more expensive than a textile jacket. This jacket retails for $350. worth every penny IMHO
