Default Klx300r 2021

Hello,
I am very new to riding. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can convert the KLX300R 2021 dirt bike to a street legal bike. I'm from Ontario Canada and we need to have a blue plate for it but I can not get a blue plate if the bike was not built to be a dual purpose bike (Both on and off road). I was wondering if they made it so that it can be made into both or not?

Thanks

It can be done in California, but it's quite a project fitting your R with street legal gear and getting it inspected and approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles..

There is one way.. See if your local dealer will exchange your bike for a street legal one. It'll cost, but the results are certain and with the least amount of hassle.

Your biggest problem will be the VIN number.

You need to talk to your province Department of Transportation vehicle registration agency to see about getting a title to make it road legal. I know some states in the U.S. are easy, some are hard. In Ohio it used to be if you got a headlight, brake light, and horn then the bike inspected it could be done. Not sure what it takes now, but riders are still doing it. Some other states require the actual MSO or title to be for road use, off road vehicles have a note on titles to the effect they are off road only.
