KLX 300 barrel and head on a KLX 250 bottom end?

KLX 300 barrel and head on a KLX 250 bottom end?
Does anyone have experience with putting a 300 barrel and head on an electric start KLX 250 bottom end. I have a 2000 KLX 300 with a bad crank and figured now is a good time to upgrade to electric start.
