klr 250

im pretty much new here, but i was lloking at giitin a klr 250 ,1997year model, it has a little over 3300 miles on it.can any one tell me if there a good all around bike for off road use and how they doo in the dirt/ sand? have you taken it off anyt jumps? how much air did u git? how relable are they?

Hey Jon, the KLR is a tested machine and it has been a really reliable bike for 20+ years. Not sure about the jumping thing since I don't jump my bike much. A friend of mine has a 2002 and another friend has the 2004. Both are really great bikes, and really 3300 miles is not that many, I mean I have almost 7,000 on my 2006 KLX and in fact I think one member has over 20,000 on his bike.

hey thx 4 the post. just your oppion is 1200 to much for that 250 i was talking about if i was 2 buy it?
