I didnt get the bike new, actually I'm the 3rd owner, but its an 05 w/ 4k+ miles. New to me anyway.

I ran a search and looked through most of the keys for Kawasaki model's and couldn't find anything listed to the EX models. I did find one that looks different than my ZX key looks. Also, when I bought mine, I zoomed in on picture to make sure it was the same.

I too have one key and if I lose it I will go to the push button start and forget the key. I also do not leave my bike any wear unattended either, for those who do this would not be a good option.

Keys need to be purchased from the dealership and cut by lock smith, due to most lock smiths do not stock the blank keys for bikes.
