Default I test rode a KLE500 (450)

Disclaimer: I'm Australian therefore the following is in Australian Dollars.
Had a ride on the KLE500 (450) Some things I liked, the suspension was plush and felt good off road, the brakes are excellent. It's comfortable to ride and surprised me how competent it feels.
Things I didn't like, in Australia we only get the tall seat and the short one is $500 extra 🙁 you should have your choice of seats for the ride away price.
The motor is very buzzy at highway speeds, this bike should be designed for highways to get to the fun stuff.
It's a revvy street motor not much grunt down low, it's also geared very low so is doing high revs at highway speeds. If you like revving the snot out of things you'll probably love it, it's not my thing.
I'm used to a good bright TFT screen these days and the LCD on the standard model is just inadequate in my opinion, difficult to read and quite dull, personally if I was to buy a KLE I'd have to buy the SE model to get the TFT and it's $12.5K, 25% more than the 450MT. Kawasaki puts a (excellent) TFT on nearly everything now, the unit price should be cheap enough to go on this one as well.
The ground clearance is quite low and an aggressive rider, I'd suggest, would probably belly it pretty easily.
Mind you I'm comparing it to the CFMoto 450MT I own, which sets the bar pretty high. Having said that I did enjoy the ride.
Of course this is my opinion and yours may differ.
