Default Help please!

Ok. I'm 14 I'll be 15 in August and am about 5'6ish. I'm just starting out at riding. I learned on a kdx200 but that's too big for me. I ride mostly trails. So I decided I need a bike my size. I sat on the klx140l and the kx100. They both are perfectly sized for me. I can't decide which. I was leaning towards the 140 because I don't need all the speed of a kx and all my friend have 4 stroke 125s, but one keeps telling me go with the kx. I'm torn. Which should I get?

Welcome to KF. For me that would be a tough call. You did say that the kdx was too big for you. Size wise or power wise? Again, welcome

Doesn't one of the KLX 110 bikes have electric start? Also I think the KLX 110 came in two sizes. Good luck. And hey in a couple of years you can pick up a used KLX 250.

The kdx wasn't THAT bad power wise, I mean its a powerful bike but I could handle it. It was a little powerful when I first started but mostly size wise. Also, I think the the klx 110, 125, and 140 all just have the optional L model. Thats just bigger tires and disc brakes in the front instead of drum.

ahh, gotcha. I am not a good person to chat with concerning that option as well. But, being comfy with your ride is key to enjoying, going fast and being safe. Again, good luck
