I would look for a used one. Plenty around for little money.

 

I recently purchased a kawsaki 250r Special edition, the olny thing i hate about it is the break-in period cant get over 35-40mph for 600miles then over 55mph for 400miles (if done properly). I just dont see a very substanial argument aganst it, it costs less, WAY better gas mileage, develop better riding technique, affordable insurance, and with the new style they look awsome . go with the 250 cant beat it

I eventually plan to step up to a 600 and make my 250 a track day bike, which will be perfect for my level of experience on the track.
