I would go to the nada website (nadaguides.com) and look it up that way as it should give you a fair price. Of course that all depends on the bikes condition and mileage. You can also print out the nada page show it to the guy you're buying from in case he's asking too much and you can talk him down.

 

whenever i sell something, I always check nada, www.kbb.com, and ebay... Ebay always tells you what people are actually paying...

I paid 3,400 canadian for my '94. Some people may think that it was too much, but......the bike was in immaculate condition and very well cared for. I have not had to do anything to my bike other than change the oil. Depending on how much riding I get in this year, my tires will probably last me into next year. Even though I paid a bit more than the blue book value, I got my money's worth.

So the price I paid, was fair to both myself and the seller.
