In the wrong or not, becoming combatant and starting off with an attitude will get you nowhere with the police. I respect what they do, and yes there are some real turds in law enforcement, but how we conduct ourselves whether on our bikes or in our vehicles with our families will have a lot of bearing on how the situation turns out. The guy on the bike had an attitude from the beginning and the cop's adrenaline kicked in, its just natural for each of them to react this way. The only difference is that the cop is supposed to be trained to de-escalate the situation. I think that the cop took the last guy in the pack and tried to power trip him, and when things got out of hand he had to come up with a reason to arrest the rider. It's a tough one to judge, but the fact that the video was posted tells me that the police couldn't keep the video or erase it, so I dont think it was for that reason. And since we couldn't actually see the plate to tell if it was obstructed then we are only really getting part of the story.

Didn't watch the video. If you have an attitude with law enforcement (which tells me you were doing something to provoke them in the first place) then you get what you get.
