my dealer has a few in ca, finally got to check them out. i still want one.

 

I went into my stealership with a goal in mind. I siad listen hear if you can`t do this bike for this much I am walking. The ZX 14 sticker was like 12500 or so. Well they promised to ad match. I saw a clearance for 7995. But they said it has the 2 brother pipes we added. I said I did not care if it could not be done pipes or no pipes I am walking so I financed 8500. You know what you have to pay the bill so screw them. Do what makes you happy.

 

I bought a 250 there and honestly I only got it cause I called when they had it in the crate. I got lucky. Don't believe for a minute the '07 is better by any means, just understand it's supply and demand...and there is NO supply. I went up to Bellevue Kawasaki and the owner offered me $3,500 for '08 250 sight unseen...that's how bad these dealers need the bikes. Most dealers are claiming 15+ calls per day on these bikes.

 

my friends been looking all around seattle and has been waiting for a month or so for one. they keep telling him next week blah blah blah and hes got a deposit on it. i've never ridden a 250 but after riding my 500 i wouldnt even want one. youre most likely gonna sell it in a year.

dont' believe the dealers, i hate them and won't talk to dealers.

 

go in wit someone you know knows bout bikes and go from there

 

personal preference is EVERYTHING. from what i've heard an 08 is right up you alley
