Default Absolute Best Brake Fluid

I had some absolutely horrible brake fade Sunday so I am looking into my options for brake fluid. I don't need to worry too much about the boil temperatures when saturated with moisture because I will be changing the fluid very often.

Are you sure your fluid is the culprit? What is your current brake setup? Stock? Aftermarket? Give us a few more details.

Try upgrading to stainless braided lines, maybe different pads, and use the same brake fluid you normally use.

IF YOU HAD BRAKE FADE ITS NOT THE FLUID,ITS YOUR BRAKE LINES EXPANDING,REPLACE YOUR BRAKE LINE TO BRAIDED ONES,THAT WILL ELIMINATE YOUR PROBLEM.THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION THOUGH IS DOT5.

I replaced the pads(Vesrah RJL of unknown age) with brand new race Vesrahs and put in fresh brake fluid and the problem was solved. Stock brakes with braided lines naturally its a race bike.

I ran the sjrl's(vesrah) in the tokico calipers for awhile. They worked pretty well. Got the nissin's on now and will probably go back to SBS pads. Using the RBF fluid again.

I think I found an article online and the answer is in if you have cash to spare...
Castrol SRF, followed by NEO Super Dot and Motul (RBF 600?), I think since I can get list pricing on Elf HTX 115 which has a dry boiling point of 554 F and wet of 392 F will do. I will just change it every weekend.
BRAKE FLUID DRY BOILING POINT WET BOILING POINT LIST PRICE
AP SUPER 600 - 590F 410F $18.00/16.9oz.
CASTROL SRF - 590F 518F $69.99/33.8oz.
NEO SUPER DOT 610 - 610F 421F $15.00/12oz.
MOTUL RACING 600- - 593F 420F $15.00/16.9oz.
MOTUL DOT 5.1 - 509F 365F $6.50/16.9oz.
ATE SUPER BLUE - 536F 392F $11.99/33.8oz
VALVOLINE SYNPOWER-503F 343F $4.97/16.9oz.
ATE SL -500F 329F $7.95/16.9oz.
CASTROL LMA -450F 311F $3.50/16.9oz.

Bang for the buck and availability and with good results is why I use the RBF. I only flush the system once or twice a year.
