so what exactly is the putpose? its not going to improve your visibility, and IMO it will harm your night vision by introducing a nearby light source from light reflected off any water spots on the lense and the padding (which i can see during the day anyways but its black, having it lit up at night would be annoying)

 

I saw these, its not really meant for being turned on at night. You can turn them off while riding, and on when you need to quickly find something at night, while you still have your helmet on. I may buy them just for the fun of it, but I wouldn't ride with them turned on as it does seem like it would glare. I just got my new Shark RSR2, so this might be a fun addon.
