If you have a 12v adapter on the bike, then just use the power plug made for the gps and you'll be fine. No different from the car plug.

Today I bought a universal car charger plug that has 2 built in usb ports on it so I can plug the cable that came with the gps in while on the bike. So far I like it alot. Ive been playin with it a little bit.

I have my bike half apart doing maintenance to it (steering head bearings and such) or I would definitely be up for it.
