Thinking about ordering this stuff but wondering if its good stuff.....

All from Icon: Merc Gloves Short, Field Armor Chukka Boot, Hooligan Pants Denim, Shorts Field Armor.


i have a HJChelmet and a joe rocket jacket.

 

I'm not a fan of icon stuff at all. I have a pair of thier gloves and boots and both feel apart in less then one season of riding. My Joe Rocket gear has been much better.

 

dont know too much bout icon but i do have their armor shorts and knee guards havnt had too test em but but i like the extra protection under draggin jeans comfortable but he knee guards slide down alot they ok while on the bike but even tucked in my boots im always pullin them up when walking cuz its not always convienient to take em off

 

A lot of people find the Icon boots hard to move under the shifter. The other gear sounds OK to me.

 

I like my icon gear i got. my jacket is a little tight but i knda like it tight at the bottom that way it doesn't blow up my back.

it sounds like good gear to me.

 

looks like im getting some mixed reactions.. so what would u guys suggest for gloves, boots, & pants??

Alsoanything else i should need for just basic riding?? no tracking yet..

 

i have every piece you mentioned on your list and havent had one problem, i prefer the super duty pants because of the cargo pockets but other then me getting fat and my gear being a little tight this month, no probs, no issues, nothing falling apart.

o wait, icon sucks

 

You will always get mixed opinions.
For ex: I like my goat skin gloves and helmet from AGV, Leathers from Z leathers and still undecided about my new SIDI boots. Personnal preference it seems.

 

I've been riding around with my super duty pants, and they rock. Giant pockets, just like the Army! I have the hooligan pants and they are amazingly comfortable, but I don't know how well they'd hold in a crash.

 

I have a Gericke jacket, Tourmaster Air Intake jacket, Nitro boots, Lady Icon gloves and Tourmaster gloves. I think i like the Tourmaster gear best.......so far.
